🌍 Migration, Belonging & an Epidemic of Friendship
It’s often said: if we want lower numbers of migration, we must ensure that home is a place you never want to leave. That takes vision, effort, and courage — especially when we look at today’s challenges: climate disruption, fragile economies, and conflict.

But PTPI knows there is another force too often overlooked: friendship. What happens if we treated friendship itself as an epidemic worth spreading?

🤝 Could stronger community ties make people feel safer where they are?
🤝 Could global friendships reduce hostility between groups?
🤝 Could networks of trust help communities adapt to crises rather than flee from them?

This is a question for our PTPI family worldwide: How does an epidemic of friendship contribute to making home a place people never want to leave?

We’d love to hear your reflections, big or small. Let’s imagine solutions — together.
