A look at recent highlights from across our global network
As we mark the International Day of Peace, it’s a good moment to pause and reflect on how much our global PTPI community has achieved in just the past few months. From youth projects and cultural exchanges to tree-planting and film screenings, our members are showing what it means to live Peace through Understanding.
🕊️ International Day of Peace – Act Now for a Peaceful World
On 21 September, PTPI joined the global call for peace. This year’s theme urged us all to take action, from sparking conversations and volunteering, to challenging discrimination and supporting socially conscious initiatives. We shared a special poem and resources to inspire members.

🇨🇿 PTPI Šternberk (Czech Republic)
The chapter launched Homeschool Thursdays with a challenging 15 km hike — “K1 – the first 660.” With 660 meters of elevation, great weather, and tired legs, it was a powerful way to combine planning, fitness, and community spirit.
🇷🇴 PTPI Roman (Romania)
- Registrations Open: On Sept. 19, the Roman Chapter hosted a launch event to introduce their new board and welcome new members.
- Freshman’s Night: On Sept. 26, youth organized an interactive evening to support incoming high school students with advice, activities, and encouragement.
🇵🇱 Youth in Action – Katowice (Poland) & Kyiv (Ukraine)
Under the theme “Let’s Change the World Together”, youth from the International Baccalaureate program in Katowice and Athina Private School in Kyiv gathered in Leptokaria, Greece, beneath the Olympus massif.
They explored entrepreneurship and cooperation, guided by our own Yanouch Vozgnacque, showing how PTPI values flow through projects beyond our own network.
🇪🇪 PTPI Estonia
Representatives joined the Inclusive Toolbox seminar in Cluj-Napoca, Romania (Sept. 12–14). The program supported professionals working with marginalized youth, with a focus on inclusive education, non-formal learning, and intercultural collaboration.
🇺🇸 PTPI Delaware (USA)

Mark your calendars:
60th Anniversary of PTPI Korea and 53rd Annual Banquet & International Friendship Night will take place on December 5, 2025 in Seoul. This milestone event will highlight Korea’s strong tradition of cultural diplomacy and youth engagement.
🌱 Tree-Nation Partnership
Two years ago, PTPI began planting trees in Bolivia’s Amazon Basin. Today, those eucalyptus trees are thriving, a living reminder of our commitment to both people and planet.
