Dear Global PTPI Family,
As we continue rebuilding People to People International, I want to speak openly and simply about where we are.
PTPI today is active, connected, and moving forward. Across our network, chapters are delivering meaningful work, rebuilding communities, and creating real person-to-person connections.
At the same time, we are still in a rebuilding phase.
Where we stand
At present, PTPI is funded almost entirely from within.
We do not yet have the external funding structures that once supported the organisation. Rebuilding our reputation and credibility externally takes time, and we are doing that step by step.
In the meantime, the continued functioning of PTPI depends on something very simple:
👉 our collective support
A simple request (next 30 days)
Over the coming weeks, we ask all chapters and members to:
- Ensure annual dues are up to date
- Consider a small additional donation where possible
This is not about large contributions.
It is about shared responsibility.
Even modest support, when consistent across the network, allows us to:
- maintain core operations
- support communication and coordination
- continue building the foundation for future growth
How to contribute
You can contribute here:
If the link does not open directly from the newsletter (we are aware of some issues), please:
- copy and paste it into your browser, or
- visit the PTPI website and select the “Give” button
Why this matters
Everything we are rebuilding depends on this foundation.
No funding → no coordination
No coordination → no network
No network → no impact
This is the stage we are in. And it is a stage we will move through together.
Looking ahead
We are already seeing real momentum:
- chapters reactivating
- new partnerships forming
- youth and community programmes growing
With a stable internal base, we will be in a stronger position to:
- secure external funding
- support chapters more directly
- grow PTPI globally once again
Final note
Thank you for everything you are already doing.
PTPI has always been built on people. That has not changed.
If you are able to contribute, now is the moment it makes a real difference.
With global friendship,
Chalks
Director-General
People to People International
