About the Chapter

The People to People International Atlanta Chapter has a long and dignified legacy within the PTPI community, proudly embodying the spirit of Peace through Understanding in one of the most historically rich cities in the United States.

Atlanta served as the host city for the 2015 PTPI Worldwide Conference, welcoming global members with signature Southern hospitality. The chapter has been a beacon of civic engagement and cultural exchange, notably through collaborative projects with the YMCA and other local institutions.

Linda A. Dean, chapter president, along with her team, is actively working to rebuild and re-energize the chapter following the challenges of the global pandemic. With deep roots in community service and international friendship, the Atlanta chapter continues to explore new ways to make meaningful impact locally and globally.

PTPI Atlanta is also home to Trey Ragsdale, Chair of the PTPI General Assembly, further highlighting the chapter’s ongoing leadership and influence in shaping the future of our organization.
