About the Chapter

With a strong legacy of hospitality and youth exchange, PTPI Interlaken is one of the most active and welcoming chapters in Europe. Known for their commitment to homestays, the chapter offers international guests the chance to immerse themselves in Swiss life and culture.

Each year, the chapter hosts the All-Swiss PTPI Gathering, typically held in late summer or early autumn. These beloved get-togethers bring together members from across Switzerland and beyond to celebrate shared values, take in the beauty of the region, and deepen friendships.

In 2024, we are proud to regenerate the Homestay Program—specifically for international university students—offering them an unforgettable cultural exchange in one of Europe’s most breathtaking settings.

Year-round, members organize local walks, bike rides, cultural evenings, and visits to iconic Swiss sights—all underscored by the chapter’s warm and open-hearted spirit.
