Whether you’re staying with a host family abroad or welcoming international guests into your home, our Homestay Program is all about fostering meaningful connections. Through shared stories, traditions, and everyday experiences, participants gain invaluable insights into diverse lifestyles while building friendships that last a lifetime.

Participant Requirements
Participation in the Homestay Program is open to members of a People to People International (PTPI) Chapter.
To ensure a safe and enriching experience, participants must meet the following criteria:
Age Requirements: Participants traveling alone must be at least 18 years old. Youth groups must include members aged 15 and older. Children as young as 10 may participate when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Persons under 10 years of age are not eligible to participate in homestays. Youth Group Guidelines: Youth groups (ages 15-21) must be accompanied by a responsible adult leader who is at least 25 years old. For groups larger than 10 members, at least two adult leaders are required.
