People to People International is proud to have a strong community of At-Large Members—individuals who continue to support our mission even when a local chapter may not be nearby. These dedicated members are essential to the heart of our organization, contributing time, ideas, funding, and friendship across borders and platforms.

One of our most engaged At-Large members is Bonnie Hirschhorn, based in New York City. Bonnie brings warmth, insight, and energy to everything she does and is a cherished part of the PTPI community. She participates regularly in online gatherings, supports international conferences, and is always eager to connect with fellow PTPI members traveling to or through New York.

If you’re visiting the Big Apple and would like to meet a passionate ambassador of peace through understanding, Bonnie would be delighted to connect over coffee and conversation.

While in New York, don’t miss these iconic highlights:

  • 🗽 Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island – Explore America’s immigrant history and freedom symbol.

  • 🎭 Broadway & Times Square – Catch a world-class show or simply soak in the neon buzz.

  • 🌳 Central Park – A green oasis in the heart of the city with trails, lakes, and cultural events.

  • 🖼 The Metropolitan Museum of Art & The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) – Two of the world’s finest collections.

  • 🏛 9/11 Memorial & Museum – A moving tribute to resilience and remembrance.

  • 🌆 Top of the Rock or Empire State Building – Get a sweeping view of this unforgettable skyline.

  • 🛍 Fifth Avenue & SoHo – Perfect for shopping and people-watching.

At-Large members like Bonnie prove that you don’t need a chapter nearby to make a difference. You just need heart—and we’re grateful for every one of you.
