The PTPI Greater Phoenix Chapter is a dynamic part of the People to People International family, with a strong commitment to global exchange, citizen diplomacy, and international collaboration. Founded to foster cross-cultural understanding, this chapter continues to play a leading role in connecting global leaders and communities through innovative programs and impactful partnerships.

🌍 Key Activities:

  • International Leadership Exchanges: In collaboration with the Congressional Office for International Leadership (COIL) (formerly the Open World Leadership Center), the Phoenix Chapter has hosted over a dozen delegations from Eastern Europe and Central Asia. These include emerging leaders and professionals from Georgia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and beyond.

  • High-Level Delegation Hosting: Notably, the chapter recently welcomed judges from Kazakhstan and is preparing for a delegation of Hungarian Members of Parliament. These visits have included meetings with Arizona Supreme Court justices, the Arizona Bar Association, local legislators, and civic institutions.

  • Community Partnerships: Local partners—universities, courts, lawmakers, and nonprofits—help deliver meaningful, thematic programs that support the objectives of cultural diplomacy and democratic development.

  • International Visitors Program: Through homestays and cultural immersion, the chapter connects international delegates with local families, offering authentic insight into American life and strengthening global friendship.
