Friendships Rekindled in Warsaw: A Note from Mike Hermida
Mary and I have just returned from a heartfelt visit to Poland, where we attended the recent PTPI gathering in Warsaw. It was a joyful occasion, not only to be part of the meeting but to reconnect with so many of our Polish PTPI friends—some of whom we first met as students, and who are now thriving in university or building their careers.
What stood out most was the warmth, the laughter, and the easy camaraderie that comes with long-standing friendships. Though we live continents apart, PTPI has given us the gift of staying connected—virtually most of the time, but now and then in person, which makes all the difference.
This trip reminded us of one of PTPI’s greatest strengths: its power to build and sustain real friendships, across borders and across generations.
We’re sharing a few photos from the gathering—faces that many of you will surely recognize 😄
