All Chapters

Published: March 2025

We’re thrilled to announce that our new PTPI website is now live — a fresh digital home that reflects our global mission, community, and energy. As we continue rebuilding and reimagining People to People International for the future, this platform will be your central hub for updates, events, connections, and opportunities.

To catch everyone up, here’s a quick recap of the major highlights and milestones from 2025 so far:

🧭 Regenerating Our Global Network

  • We’ve reconnected with long-standing chapters in the USA, Europe, Africa, and Asia — including Colombia, Taiwan, and Poland.
  • Chapters in Romania, Estonia, North Macedonia, Kenya, and Switzerland have shared inspiring updates on youth engagement, travel plans, local impact, and community outreach.
  • We’ve revived relationships with past members and re-opened discussions about creating new sister chapter connections across regions.

👩‍💻 New Tools and Structures

  • The Membership Portal is up and running, helping members register, renew, and access key documents and resources.
  • Our AI-assisted communications (hello from Reetha!) have allowed us to respond faster, organise better, and stay in regular contact.
  • Our accounting systems are now managed digitally, with financial reports being finalized for 2024 and Q1 2025.

🗳️ Governance and Participation

  • The General Assembly (GA) is set to be activated shortly, with efforts underway to clarify its Terms of Reference and assemble working committees.
  • We introduced the concept of Citizen Assemblies — inviting our members to co-shape PTPI’s direction, policies, and purpose. This is your movement as much as anyone’s.

✈️ Travel and Reconnection

  • We announced our first informal travel gathering for 20–22 June in Warsaw, Poland, open to all members who wish to reconnect face-to-face.
  • Our travel and homestay pages have been updated to reflect how members can join meaningful cultural exchanges again.

🌱 Project Highlights

  • Chapters have been encouraged to align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in planning and reporting their local projects.
  • Our PTPI Forest on Tree-Nation is growing! Members are invited to celebrate Earth Day and World Environment Day by planting a tree in our global forest.

📣 Communication & Storytelling

  • Our weekly Connections newsletter has been relaunched — sharing chapter updates, upcoming events, and key community messages.
  • We’ve featured chapters in Denmark, Bulgaria, and Kansas City, with more chapter spotlights to come.

💙 Staying Honest About Challenges
We’ve been transparent about the difficulties — especially the legacy issues from the U.S. bankruptcy and the continued challenge of sending support to some regions. We are committed to finding solutions, and we welcome all ideas and support.

💙 A Final Word: Every Contribution Counts

People to People International is a fully volunteer-led organization — driven by the passion, commitment, and creativity of its global members. To operate effectively across borders, we rely heavily on tools and technology to support communication, coordination, membership management, and financial transparency.

These systems come at a cost. From our Membership Portal to Office365, from accounting tools to AI support — these are the invisible backbones of the work we do. That’s why we regularly run micro-fundraising drives, and why every contribution, no matter how small, matters deeply.

Your support ensures we can stay connected, keep building, and continue serving the world through meaningful projects, travel, and learning.

💬 If you’re not in a position to give right now — no problem. Share our mission. Talk about PTPI. Help us grow awareness.

Together, we make the difference.
Together, we continue to advance peace through understanding.
