Eesti People to People continues to demonstrate strong leadership in international cooperation through its active participation in the Erasmus+ project “Combating Online Misinformation to Prevent Radicalisation of Vulnerable Adults.”

During a recent online partner meeting held on 13 March 2026, project partners reviewed progress across several important workstreams. Discussions focused on the development of online course materials, an educational online game, and a prototype AI chatbot designed to help learners better recognize misinformation and strengthen critical thinking skills.

The project addresses one of the defining challenges of our time. The spread of misinformation online can weaken trust in institutions, increase polarization, and leave vulnerable individuals more exposed to manipulation and radicalization. By building educational tools and practical learning resources, the project aims to strengthen digital literacy, resilience, and informed decision-making across communities.

PTPI Estonia has been a consistent and highly respected participant in Erasmus+ collaborations, demonstrating how local chapters can contribute to meaningful international initiatives that address real societal challenges.

Their work provides an excellent example for other PTPI chapters that may be considering involvement in Erasmus+ projects. The PTPI Global Coordination Centre encourages chapters interested in exploring similar opportunities to connect with the network and learn from the experience of colleagues already active in this field.
