At People to People International (PTPI), we know the world doesn’t just need fixes to its problems. It needs redesign.
Imagine a world without greed, jealousy, or violence. We may not solve it all at once — but every friendship, every act of patience, and every passionate step forward is part of the blueprint.
This is what PTPI was founded to do. Our visionaries — President Dwight D. Eisenhower, J.C. Hall, Bob Hope, Walt Disney, Charles M. Schulz — were ahead of their time. They believed in peace through understanding and in ordinary citizens being the extraordinary engine of change.
If they were with us today, they’d be proud of how PTPI is being re-imagined: lean, tech-powered, and deeply community-driven.
PTPI in Action – Building the Blueprint
✨ A New PTPI Structure
We relaunched PTPI as a lean, volunteer-led, technology-driven NGO. With no paid staff, supported by automation and AI, our focus is sharper: empowering chapters and members. The good things from the past — exchanges, storytelling, service — are being redelivered through the passion of core members who made this transition with us.
🌏 Mongolia Reconnection
Mongolia rejoined our global network in 2025 with ~25 members and immediately engaged in exchanges with our colleagues in Tinan. This reconnection is proof of how quickly trust and friendship can cross borders.
🇺🇸 United States Chapters
From Delaware to Phoenix, Los Angeles to Texas, chapters are stepping up to rekindle local energy and lead initiatives rooted in community service and connection.
🇦🇲 Armenia & Roman Youth
The youth chapter in Roman, Romania has been mentoring and assisting other youth chapters across regions, while Armenia continues to model the energy of youth-led leadership.
🇮🇹 Italy – Glocal Sustainability
Italian members champion the philosophy of “Glocal” — think global, deliver local. Projects here focus on sustainability and aligning with the UN SDGs.
🇲🇰 North Macedonia – Civic Engagement
Youth-led chapters have been focused on inclusion and civic engagement, showing how young people can drive democracy and participation.
🇰🇷 South Korea
Home to 70+ chapters (adult and student), South Korea continues to lead with strength, delivering programs that link local communities with our mission of global citizenship.
🇪🇪 Estonia – Erasmus & Storytelling
One of PTPI’s most consistent trailblazers, Eesti People to People leads Erasmus collaborations and cultural storytelling projects. Their presentation at the 7th Transnational Conference in Poland showcased “Myths and Legends of Old Tallinn,” proving how culture builds bridges.
🌿 Tree-Nation Partnership
Through our partnership with Tree-Nation, PTPI stands alongside communities in vulnerable environments. This is about more than trees: it’s about restoring ecosystems, supporting people, and showing that peace also includes the planet.
