As People to People International continues its work through its 70th year, one thing is clear:
PTPI is not a system.
It is a network of people.
Across our chapters, members continue to lead, support, and represent PTPI in ways that are often unseen, but deeply valued. That commitment matters. It always has.
At the same time, we need to be honest about where we are.
A Shared Reality
PTPI is rebuilding.
Not from zero, but from a place that requires:
- renewed trust
- clear structure
- consistent support
At the Global Coordination Centre, we are focused on doing exactly that.
We are:
- maintaining core systems
- building partnerships
- supporting programmes
- creating the foundations for growth
All of this relies on something simple, but essential.
Membership Matters
Chapter dues are not symbolic.
They are part of how PTPI functions.
They support:
- the central coordination that connects the network
- the tools and systems we all rely on
- the ability to represent PTPI globally
- the work that keeps the organisation moving forward
Without this, there is no stable platform.
This is not about pressure.
It is about clarity.
Where We Need Your Voice
There is something more important than funding.
It is feedback.
Right now, we do not hear enough from across the network about:
- what you expect from PTPI
- what support would make a real difference
- what success looks like for your chapter
- what we should prioritise
And that creates a gap.
Because if we cannot see the target, we cannot hit it.
And if we do not know what matters to you, we risk missing it.
Speak Up
This is your organisation.
If you want:
- clearer communication
- stronger programmes
- more visibility
- different priorities
Say it.
If something is working well, tell us.
If something is missing, tell us.
We are building this together. Not without you, for you.

There are strong signs across PTPI:

We are moving in the right direction.
Not at full strength yet.
But with intent. And with progress.
