🇦🇲 About Armenia
Armenia is a culturally rich country located in the South Caucasus region, bridging Europe and Asia. With a history dating back thousands of years, it was the first nation to adopt Christianity as a state religion in 301 AD. Its capital, Yerevan, is among the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Despite regional challenges, Armenia remains a beacon of resilience, education, and community spirit.
🌍 About the PTPI Yerevan Chapter
Founded in 2008, the PTPI Yerevan Chapter has become a dynamic part of our global network, dedicated to promoting peace, cultural exchange, and human rights.
The chapter focuses on:
-
Educational and human rights programming
-
Youth engagement through non-formal, interactive learning
-
Humanitarian and charitable initiatives
PTPI Yerevan works closely with the local NGO Zartonk-89, co-creating programs that reflect the shared values of both organizations.
In November 2024, PTPI Yerevan signed a Sisterhood Chapter Agreement with PTPI Tainan (Taiwan), opening a path to deeper cooperation in education, intercultural dialogue, and peaceful conflict resolution. Plans are underway for reciprocal visits to strengthen these ties further.
🤝 Ready to Collaborate
PTPI Yerevan is open to partnerships with other PTPI chapters and international organizations. The chapter welcomes initiatives that support peace, education, and global understanding — always with a heart for inclusion and local impact.
Let’s build bridges across borders — together.
