Connection, Learning, and Global Experience
Young people are not just participants in PTPI.
They are part of shaping the future of a more connected world.
PTPI youth activities create opportunities for young people to:
- connect across cultures
- build confidence and communication skills
- explore different perspectives
- develop leadership through real experience and engagement
We believe young people can learn to navigate difference with curiosity, respect, and dignity, even when views, cultures, or experiences are not the same.
A Global Generation
Today’s young people are growing up in an increasingly connected and complex world.
Through exchanges, community activities, conferences, cultural experiences, and partner-led initiatives, PTPI helps create spaces where young people can:
- learn from one another
- build international friendships
- strengthen intercultural understanding
- develop practical and social skills for the future
Some programmes are local.
Some international.
All are built around human connection and shared experience.
Responsible and Inclusive by Design
PTPI youth activities are developed with:
- safeguarding and duty of care
- clear communication and expectations
- age-appropriate structures and supervision
- inclusion and cultural respect
- collaboration with trusted partners and local organisations
We recognise that meaningful exchange does not require everyone to think the same way. Respect, listening, and responsible engagement matter.
Youth Mobility Programme
The PTPI Youth Mobility Programme creates opportunities for young people to take part in carefully structured international and intercultural experiences.
Working with chapters, schools, families, and trusted partners, the programme supports meaningful exchange through preparation, communication, safeguarding, and ongoing support for participants and hosts. The programme is being developed and expanded in stages as PTPI rebuilds its global youth network and partnerships.
